A Good Experience by
A Traveler from Connecticut
Sailing date: Jul 2010 Pros:
The Crew members attentiveness to the needs of the guest and their dedication.
Cons:
The overcrowded pool areas and some "Adult" comedy shows.
Since this is my first cruise experience. It was a very relaxing vacation. The ship was nice and very comfortable. Food are great and the crews especially in the bars (bar waiters) are very attentive and ready to help always.
Ship Quality I do not like the decor in some of the places. The selection of arts are not really compatible to the theme of the ship.
Stateroom Quality The state room crews are wonderful. The only thing that I do not like about our room is the lack of night light.
Ship Staff Quality they are wonderful. I can still remember their names and how they are excellent. Gladys, Liza, Alben, Eugene, Emmanuel, Richard to name the few. In my opinion Carnival Comapny should give them a raise and promotion.
Entertainment & Activities Do not like some of the activities. Silly stuff (i.e. hairy chest competition). Not a fan.

Halifax, Nova Scotia The titanic tour is good but that's it.
Saint John, New Brunswick it;s ok but there is nothing to do in the port except go to the mall.
Don't Miss: short trips

Great cruise by
Akvilina R from Billings, MT
Sailing date: Apr 2010 Pros:
Food!
It is the second time I have been on carnival and the first time around staff was so amazing we were in awe. This time I have notice that staff was really down and not as eager to do their job. After visiting with one of girls on staff, she said that morale is really down among them as theit pay got drastically cut, so it is understandable. It was still great if I wouldn't have had a comparison to previous trip. I loved the itinerary for Glory, great stops, especially Grand Turk
Ship Quality I think ship is getting to look pretty beat up. Could use some renovation.

Glory Caribbean by
RS from Denver, CO
Sailing date: Mar 2010 Pros:
How the eating was so accessible
Cons:
The safety meeting was painfully unorganized and long
Went to the Eastern Caribbean, came with my family of 6, only one other cruise under our belts, had a blast on this ship. We are pleasantly impressed with the size, the cleanliness, the decor and food. We were thinking this ship and cruise line were going to be far less than our past cruise, but was very impressed and would not hesitate to use Carnival again and/or this ship.
Ship Quality We loved how they had the food areas spread over almost the whole lido deck which made it so accessible and so convenient being around the pools. We didn't feel overly crowded, there was space to move. Sea days were a little tight on the sun decks, but there was always a sun chair to be found to relax. I was thinking the ship might be too old and I forgot that quickly as we entered the ship and felt it was very well kept, up to date.
Dining/Food all of my family members found something to eat, again we loved how it was layed out which made for easy access.
Stateroom Quality clean, larger than we expected
Ship Staff Quality
Entertainment & Activities to be fair we didn't do a lot of activities, but did the comedy show and illusion show, both very good, however, the illusion show in my opinion was a little questionable in taking my younger kids to given the outfits and suggestive dancing between illusions.

Exceeded our expectations by
A Traveler from Minneapolis
Sailing date: Mar 2010 Pros:
Cabin size, price, ports, food, staff
Cons:
Too many spring breakers
This is our first time on Carnival and we didn't expect as good a cruise as we had on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess or NCL, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our cabin size was excellent, the food and ports were great, and the staff very friendly. We went during the second week of March so we expected some spring breakers, but there were so many of them that we didn't really get a chance at the pools and hot tubs. However, the only real negative was the long embarkation lines at Cozumel and the long tender wait line in Roatan. The other ships including the Carnival Dream did not have this problem, so the Glory needs to do better with embarkation.

MY GLORY EXPERIENCE by
linda s from lancashire england
Sailing date: Dec 2008 Pros:
SHIPS LAYOUT AND SIZE OF CABIN
Cons:
VERY NOISY ROOM, FOOD OK, NOTICED SHIP COULD HAVE BEEN CLEANER
wonderful ship, but very noisy cabin, right above the shows. toilets in the ship, not very clean, noticed a plate left on the stairs with food on all day. drinks were very expensive. i had travelled from the u.k and have criused many times before, didnt seem to have enough going on at nite on the deck. it wasnt my idea of fun, watching people drinking coke and seeing who could burp the longest???as a contest. the staff were really nice and helpful. no hand sanatizer in the machines, in the restaurant. i dont think i would cruise with carnival again.
Ship Quality layout great, but could be cleaner,

Fabulous Cruise by
Carol C. from South Carolina
Sailing date: Apr 2007 Pros:
Very spacious cabins
Cons:
the lower deck is hot
We sailed on the Carnival Glory in April 2007 to the Virgin Islands. The ship was spectacular...the room was quite a bit larger than I thought they would be. This is a newer ship than other Carnival Ships we've sailed on, and I love the added room especially in the bathroom.
Ship Quality The ship was very clean at all times. The servers in the dinning areas were very polite and very patient with even the rudest guests.
Dining/Food We ate our breakfast at the buffet each monrning and found the food to always be plentiful and fresh. Everything was kept very clean at all times. The lines got long from time to time, but in comparison to other places, I found it to still move very quickly. We ate all of our other meals in the dinning room each evening. We found the food to be of very good quality. The menu was filled with things to please everyone. I had no problems with specific timed seating, I actually like to have a set time to be ready for dinner.
Stateroom Quality
Ship Staff Quality The entire staff was very polite and helpful. I sometimes had a communication problem with a few of them.
Entertainment & Activities The singers and dancers were very good, and you could tell they were having fun too.
